Caring for nature, caring for the human being and sharing fairly are the ethical principles of permaculture, to which Kanga adheres and tries to apply in his daily life. Born in Kosovo, she grew up in simplicity and sobriety, close to nature within a large family that itself produced a large part of their consumption. Today, she continues her action by favouring short circuits, local, organic and seasonal products, soft mobility trips, but above all to reduce its waste.
Kanga has worked for more than 7 years in the coordination of projects and people. At ZeroWaste Switzerland, she joined the team as Human Resources and Volunteer Coordinator. At the same time, she continues to lead nature activities for children at the “Jardin aux 1000 mains” in Lausanne.
According to her, a change for the climate cannot be achieved without a change in our human relationships. It is essential to establish a spirit of cooperation, trust and spaces for dialogue in order to create sustainable solutions together.
