A desire for a comforting dish without spending hours in the kitchen? This month ZeroWaste Switzerland takes you on the path to simplicity with a recipe for spaghetti squash, to be stuffed as you wish… and what’s left in the fridge!
Ps. To use all of the squash, discover here a delight to make with the remaining seeds!
- Cut 1 spaghetti squash lengthwise. Remove the seeds
- Cook in a pot of water or in the oven preheated to 215. Bake for 30 minutes
- Meanwhile, prepare a sauce of your choice to stuff the spaghetti halves: bolognese, mushroom and onion, tomato and mozzarella… Let your imagination run wild!
- Drain the squashes or take them out of the oven
- Salt and pepper the inside of the cavities and stuff them
- Gratinate in the oven for 10-15 minutes
Tip: squashes are cooked when the flesh, scraped with a fork, turns into spaghetti.
