Household cleaning products can be made very easily, with or without mixing the ingredients.
Descaler and deodoriser
Place table vinegar (4% acetic acid) pure or diluted by half in a bottle (depending on your sensitivity and the desired strength). If you use white vinegar or cleaning vinegar (8% acetic acid), dilute it twice as much.

If the smell of vinegar bothers you, or to avoid wearing all that vinegar, you can add a tablespoon of citric acid to ½ litre of water. Alternatively, add lemon peel, mandarin orange peel or thyme/rosemary sprigs to the vinegar and leave the mixture to stand for 10 days, then filter.
Pure vinegar can also be used as a dishwasher rinse and as a fabric softener for washing machines (3 tbsp).
Abrasive
Put some bicarbonate of soda in a shaker.
Deodorise
Put some bicarbonate of soda in a bowl in the fridge or in the affected area. Or sprinkle bicarbonate of soda in the bottom of the dustbin (or ashtray). Also works to deodorise hands (after chopping onions), feet or shoes, the laundry basket, pet or child ‘accidents’ on mattresses, curtains or carpets.
Glass degreaser
Household alcohol (~38% ethanol) or vinegar.
Or soapy water to rinse / squeegee.
Cleaner
Simply use Marseille soap or black soap (diluted in water).
Vaisselle
A bar of Marseille soap (green!) in a good soap dish, rub your sponge/brush or your hands over it.
Pure or diluted black soap in a pump bottle.
Floors, etc.
One teaspoon of black soap paste or one tablespoon of liquid black soap for 5 litres of water. No need to rinse if you dilute enough.
Laundry
Three tablespoons of liquid black soap as a simple detergent.
As required, add 1 tablespoon of: bicarbonate (for hard water, softens), percarbonate of soda (whitens) or soda crystals (extra stain remover from 40°C).
Toilets
