From October 2025 to April 2026, ZeroWaste Switzerland, in collaboration with the City of Yverdon-les-Bains, is providing free support to several households in the municipality to help them reduce their waste as part of the “Zero Waste Challenge in Yverdon-les-Bains.” Through a series of practical workshops and personalized coaching sessions, 14 households have embarked on a six-month challenge to rethink their habits and move towards a more sustainable lifestyle.
Four workshops have already been held as part of this challenge. Participants were able to discover local businesses committed to zero waste, visit the waste collection center to better understand waste management at the municipal level, learn how to celebrate the end-of-year holidays while limiting waste, and become more aware of the issue of food waste through practical advice and anti-waste recipes.
The challenge continues with three more workshops to come: in February, a workshop on the savings that can be made by adopting a zero-waste lifestyle; in March, a workshop on more eco-friendly home maintenance; and in April, a workshop on more sustainable vacations.
These activities are open to everyone. If you would like to participate, visit our calendar to view the program and register.
