Bokoloko offers food without disposable packaging, organically grown, and local. You will find solutions to reduce your waste in the kitchen or the bathroom, but also on the road, at the office and to celebrate the beautiful events of life. Located between the historical centers of Vevey and the Tour de Peilz, the grocery store is very accessible and open every day!
Created in 2017 by Maëlle and Flavie, Bokoloko wants to promote a simple and sustainable lifestyle, practicing the hunt for unnecessary packaging and grey energy. Local and/or organic products are offered in bulk, sold by weight in the containers of your choice or in returnable and recyclable containers: basic foods such as flours, oils, pasta, dairy products, but also cleaning products, hygiene, cosmetics (yes, yes, also in reusable containers!) and sustainable and well thought objects for everyday life and all ages.
2021 is the year of new projects, Maëlle and Flavie wish to explore other fields of sustainable consumption (clothing in particular), to analyze and influence the environmental impacts upstream of the grocery store (a certification in sustainability perhaps?), and to continue on the path of a social company, anchored in Vevey and conscious!
