“Do it yourself” is great, because responsible consumption also means learning to do it yourself and reducing packaging.
And we wanted to get rid of the small, non-recyclable plastic packaging that surrounds the dishwasher tablets once and for all.

What you need

  • Recycled container (jar or bottle)

Ingredients recipe 1

  • 1,5 cup of sodium bicarbonate (baking soda)
  • 1,5 cup of Sodium carbonate (washing soda)
  • 0,5 cup of coarse salt
  • and some citric acid to keep in a separate airtight jar on the side

Ingredients recipe 2

  • 200 g of Sodium carbonate (washing soda)
  • 200 g of sodium bicarbonate (baking soda)
  • 50 g of coarse salt
  • 50 g of sodium percarbonate

How-to

Recipe 1 = Mix bases and salt – Stir.
Use: pour 1 tablespoon powder + 1 teaspoon citric acid into dishwasher tray

Recipe 2 = Mix all the ingredients in an airtight jar.
Use : pour 1 tablespoon of the mixture into dishwasher tray.
